The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program recruits, trains, and supports volunteer advocates as a powerful voice for the best interest of abused and neglected children during the court process, in order to help every child ultimately thrive in a stable and permanent home.
Childen in foster care who have a CASA volunteer are more likely to succeed in school and adjust to change. They are also half as likely to re-enter foster care system. As a volunteer, you can make all the difference for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Sign up to attend this informational session to learn how volunteering 15-20 hours a month goes a long way to help these children. Get involved and change a child’s story.
The session will be held Sept. 13, 12:30 pm – 2 pm, at CASA, 2151 Salvio St., Ste. 295 in Concord. Please sign up online before attending.
