A Beautiful Day at Concord’s Music and Market concert
A gentle August breeze kept the audience cool and carried the sweet smells of crepes, fish tacos and other tasty treats mixing with the smooth sounds of David Laflamme’s band “It’s a Beautiful Day.” And it was a beautiful evening at Todos Santos Plaza on Thursday for Concord’s Music and Market concert. The Farmers Market was hopping, food booths had long lines which (moved quickly)a the music was fantastic.
David Laflamme joined the San Francisco music scene in the ’60s, playing with the likes of Jerry Garcia and Janis Joplin. Last night he and the band brought their groove to Todos Santos Plaza with a range of songs, including their most well-known, White Bird. Laflamme’s violin solos were spectacular and the crowd appreciative. Thanks to the City of Concord, Visit Concord, The Pacific Coast Farmers Market and all the other sponsors of this great community event.
