Letter to the Editor: Vision for Clayton shrinking

CLAYTON, CA—While many Claytonites may not realize it, the “vision” for Clayton will be shrinking significantly this spring.  In particular, the beautiful view the community now enjoys of Mt. Diablo as they frequent our Post Office will be gone, along with some rustic scenes along Marsh Creek Road.  Instead, a three story, out-of-place building will permanently eclipse what has been one of the most inspiring vistas from our little town.  Nor will much of this enviable view survive for those in our downtown Grove Park.  If this is truly progress, I don’t believe it.
