CONCORD, CA (June 27, 2025) — Concord’s Music & Market summer concert series typically books classic rock, blues and jazz acts but last night’s crowd got a rare international treat when the South Korean K-Pop band took the stage at Todos Santos Plaza.

The popular Thursday evening event features live music, street food and folks can also pick up fresh fruits and vegetables at the farmers market. The 5 member boy band appeared to bring in a large younger group of (mostly) women who danced near the stage. The band has been performing since 2020. The young musicians, Zunon, Bum Jun, Ho Jin, Jung Hyun, and NUVorn, are currently touring the US with stops in Washington D.C., Los Angeles and…Concord.

The band arrived on Wednesday for a fan meet at 12KST Shop on Monument Blvd. The store serves fans of Korean rock/pop music.

The crowd at Thursday’s concert appeared to be a little smaller than the previous 2 weeks, but the vibe was upbeat and relaxed as usual. There were definitely fewer older folks dancing. Some of the older regulars at Music & Market likely got their first exposure to this popular music genre. It’s doubtful many of them will become fans, but the younger K-Pop lovers there got sang along, danced and had a great time.

Next Thursday’s concert will feature classic rock and R&B sounds from The New Frantics. The Farmers Market opens at 4pm every Thursday in Todos Santos Plaza followed by the concert at 6:30 pm.
