East Bay teacher hiring fair July 21 will offer $5K bonuses to MDUSD graduates

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (July 17, 2022) — Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) hopes to reach full staffing by August 11 this year. To help fill open positions, the district will host a certificated hiring event on Thursday, July 21. The event runs from 5-8 pm at the district office. The hiring fair takes place at 1936 Carlotta Dr. in Concord, CA.

They will make bonuses of $5,000 available for any MDUSD graduate hired for a teaching position. Teachers with science, math or BCLAD (Bilingual) credentials could also qualify. They will also offer hiring bonuses of $10,000 to qualified teachers with mild/moderate or moderate/severe Special Education Credentials.

The District asks that candidates apply for a position and sign up for an interview time online before attending the event. However, they will also welcome walk-ins.

Highly qualified candidates will have the opportunity to interview and be offered a conditional contract at the event.
