Lucien and Bobby

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Looking for a furry friend during this trying time? Good news — ARF now offers a no-contact, virtual adoption process. If you see an animal you like on their website, just fill out an online inquiry form. Once they receive your inquiry, you will be added to the virtual adoption queue.

Lucien: Five-year-old Lucien, a dapper and handsome gentleman, eagerly looks forward to being your couch companion. He’s an affectionate people-loving guy and he softly purrs non-stop when his chin is scratched or his head is petted. Lucien is the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a mellow and affectionate buddy who will watch your favorite TV program with you and keep you company.

The adoption fee for kittens (<6 months) is $150, for adult cats is $100, $25 off each for multiple cats/kittens, and senior cats (7+ years) and special needs cats are 50% off the adoption fee.

Bobby: Ten-year-old Bobby is a sweet, mellow old man. He enjoys spending his time relaxing outside and getting lots of pets from his favorite people. He gets along well with other calm dogs but mostly likes to roam around. Bobby would do well in a quiet home where his easy-going demeanor will fit in perfectly. He has some special medical needs that will require ongoing care, including a prescription urinary diet and regular monitoring with help from your veterinarian. Bobby has a positive history with other dogs and currently weighs 42 pounds.

The adoption fee for puppies (<6 months) is $350, for adult dogs is $250, and senior dogs (7+ years) and special needs dogs are 50% off the adoption fee.
