A sound equipment problem delayed the start of Thursday night’s Music and Market series concert, but the enthusiastic crowd that filled Todos Santos Plaza from end to end didn’t seem to mind waiting a few minutes. The tribute band, Stealin’ Chicago, kicked off the first of “10 Days of Jazz” at various venues around Concord. The August event celebrates 50 years since the first Concord Jazz Festival, which began in Dave Brubeck Park (or Concord Community Park as it was known at the time). Thanks to the City of Concord, Pacific Coast Farmers Market, Visit Concord and all the food vendors that helped make this a great community event.
