Congressman DeSaulnier to bring Isabel Bueso as State of the Union guest

Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA11) has announced that Isabel Bueso, a recipient of medical deferred action and a rare disease advocate, will be his guest at President Trump’s State of the Union Address on Tuesday, February 4.

“After being invited to the United States to receive life-saving medical care for her rare disease and living here legally for 17 years, Isabel and her family became the target of the Trump Administration’s cruel immigration policies when she was abruptly told she had 33 days to leave the country, a move her doctors say would be a death sentence,” said Congressman DeSaulnier. “Isabel is one of my personal heroes and she deserves to stay in this country. I am proud to help lead her fight in Congress and am so pleased she is joining me for the State of the Union.”

The 2020 State of the Union address is scheduled for Tues., Feb. 4 at 9 p.m. EST. For more information on Mark DeSaulnier, visit desaulnier.house.gov
