Concord food distribution schedule for week of April 27

Concord organizations continue to distribute thousands of meals per week to those facing food insecurity. Here’s the schedule for distributions for the week of April 27 through May 1.

Monument Crisis Center in Concord will have food available on:

Tuesday, April 28
9 a.m. to Noon
1990 Market Street

MCC needs donations of all types of nonperishable food to keep up with the demand. Staff will be on hand during the same time to accept donations of perishable and non-perishable food. To donate without leaving home, text MCC to 41-444.

Concord Churches

Several area churches have food donations to distribute on a first come, first served basis.

Tuesday, April 28
4:00 PM
Parkhaven Community Church

The Catholic Churches of Concord will be distributing food every other week on a first come, first served basis because each church only has 250 boxes of food to distribute. Recipients will receive a box containing canned and dry goods. This is a drive-up service to limit exposure to COVID-19 for volunteers and recipients. Volunteers will put the box of food in your trunk.
