Clayton Valley High Hall of Fame honors 6th class
Clayton Valley High inducted its sixth class to the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame this month. The inductees included Natalie Nelson (Class of 2000 water polo, basketball, swimming), Benson Jones (‘98, football, basketball, track), Lindsay Nelson (‘03 water polo, swimming), Pat Middendorf (Community Leadership), Katie Webber Caderao (‘00, volleyball, basketball, golf) and coach George Smylie.
Also honored were Gary Logsdon (‘65, football, basketball, baseball), Bruce Kopitar (‘77 football, wrestling) and Warren Turnage (‘78, wrestling) plus 1978 wrestling, 1979 girls volleyball and 1999 boys swimming North Coast Section championship teams.
