Clayton police recover stolen car, loaded weapon

Clayton, CA—Monday night around 11:20, Clayton police responded to a report of a disturbance in the parking lot of the Clayton Presbyterian Church on Kirker Pass.  Officers determined that not only was the couple involved in a verbal dispute, they were in a rental vehicle reported stolen from Alameda County. The driver was arrested and booked into jail.  Further investigation revealed the male was also in possession of a loaded gun that was reported stolen from Stockton.
